Leg Veins

  • Schedule a free vein consultation with the physician. Credit card reservation is required. NO SHOW or cancellations with less than 24 hrs notice will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. More appointment options are available at our partner practice, Premier Aesthetic and Laser Centre, and can be scheduled online at www.thepalc.com. Please fill out the Intake and Vein Questionnaire forms at least 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Busy schedule? Submit photos of your legs veins by email or text. Our board certified vascular medicine physician will respond with additional questions and recommendations. Ohio Residents only. Please fill out the Intake and Vein Questionnaire forms when you submit your photos.

  • Sclerotherapy closes off spider veins using a series of injections with an ultra fine needle. Compression stockings (20-30mmHg) are needed after the treatment and should be worn during the following week. These can be purchased on your own online or at the time of your visit. A free leg vein physician consultation is recommended first if you have bulging or symptomatic leg veins. Both legs can be treated on the same day. Asclera is used as the sclerosant (not saline). With each appointment, the 1st vial is $250. Subsequent vials at that same visit are then discounted to $200 per vial. More than one session may be needed. NO SHOWS or appointments cancelled/rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice are changed the full service minimum of $250 as per our policy. Please wear or bring shorts to your appointment to wear during your treatment.   • Varithena is a foam sclerosant used as a non-surgically option to treat bulging and varicose veins under. Price includes pre-treatment ultrasound evaluation, intraprocedure ultrasound and post procedure ultrasound performed at 7-10 days post-procedure. In-person physician consultation is required before scheduling. First treatment is $899. More than one session may be needed. Subsequent treatments of the same vein are discounted to $499. NO SHOWS or appointments cancelled/rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice are changed the full service price per our policy. Please wear or bring shorts to your appointment to wear during your treatment. Compression stockings (20-30mmHg) are needed after the treatment and should be worn during the following 1-2 weeks.

  • Endovenous vein ablation of the saphenous vein uses laser technology to close abnormal functioning saphenous veins. Price includes intra-procedure ultrasound and post procedure ultrasound performed at 7-10 days after the procedure. Physician consultation is required before scheduling. Treatment is $2500 per treatment. NO SHOWS or appointments cancelled/rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice are changed the full service fee as per our policy. Please wear or bring shorts to your appointment to wear during your treatment. Compression stockings (30-40mmHg) are needed after the treatment and should be worn during the following 2 weeks.

  • Ultrasound to evaluate the deep and superficial veins of the legs. This is to evaluate for deep and superficial vein clots.

  • Ultrasound to evaluate the deep and superficial with the addition of vein mapping of varicose veins of the legs.

Intake form from website must be submitted at least 24 hours before appointment.

Visit includes review and update of any new health changes, focused vascular evaluation, refill of vascular medicine prescriptions as recommended and ordering of any recommended labs and imaging studies.

  • Must have had initial consultation or prior follow-up visit within the last 14 months or Vascular Medicine Consultation is required to re-establish care. A level 2 visit may include the new diagnosis of DVT or other vascular diagnosis. Visit includes: record review of new diagnosis, focused vascular evaluation, detailed discussion and education of vascular issues, management recommendations, vascular medicine prescriptions as recommended and ordering of any recommended labs and imaging studies. Please state the reason for visit in the Appointment Notes section when scheduling.

  • Must have had an initial in-person consultation or prior follow-up visit within the last 14 months or Vascular Medicine Consultation is required to re-establish care. Visit includes review and update of any new health changes, focused vascular evaluation, refill of vascular medicine prescriptions as recommended and ordering of any recommended labs and imaging studies. *An in-person is required every two years.   • Also known as a “curbside” consultation, this is for medical providers only. Schedule a time to collaborate and have a one-on-one discussion regarding your patient’s vascular condition. Check to see if this time is billable under code 99358.

  • Contracted work may be requested by phone, email or text. Contracted work by our vascular medicine boarded physicians includes:

    -Reading non-invasive vascular studies (venous duplex, venous insufficiency, carotid duplex, arterial ultrasound, ankle/wrist-brachial indices, renal duplex, mesenteric duplex)

    -Vein procedures (scleortherapy, Varthena and endovenous laser ablation)

    -Medical-legal expert witness
